Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss President Donald Trump's diagnosis of Covid-19. Friday morning at 1:00 AM, the President tweeted that he and the First Lady had tested positive for the virus. President Trump has been criticized by the Democrat Party over his response to the virus that originated in China. President Trump was taken to Walter Reed Medical Center for treatment where he's been since Friday evening while experiencing a slight fever, fatigue, and shortness of breath. The President's condition has significantly improved according to his doctors. Also, 3 Republican Senators on the Judiciary Committee have also tested positive, while Joe Biden tested negative after sharing the debate stage with the President. How will the diagnosis' impact the election now 30 days away and the Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett? In Congress, the stalled Stimulus package is once again under negotiations. Speaker Pelosi's version currently has hundreds of billions of dollars for Blue State bailouts and free health care for illegal aliens. Will the White House covid infections push the parties to a compromise? This Wednesday the Vice-presidential debate will be held between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris. Now with the recent covid breakouts, the virus will most likely dominate the commentary. The economy, riots, police defending, Harris' and the Trump/Pence record will also be on the docket.
