Good morning, today on The Meter we will cover the now seemingly eminent Russian invasion of Ukraine. Artillery fire reigned down on Ukrainian positions this weekend driving American observers from the front. Also, Kamala Harris is on Germany to meet with the Munich Security Conference and assured President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine that if Russia invades, there will be swift and severe sanctions. White House press secretary Jen Psaki emulated Harris' words and received swift criticism from journalists that Joe Biden is waiting for "people to die" before acting. Is Joe Biden showing weakness in America foreign policy? Also, Special Counsel John Durham's probe of the 2016 Russian collusion allegations filed court papers that the Hillary Clinton campaign exploited access to internet traffic from Trump properties to create a Russian-Trump link. Some analysts are calling this a bigger scandal that Watergate. Hillary Clinton finally responded to the probe calling it a "right wing conspiracy" pepatrated by Fox News. Will anyone face  accountability?     Also, Kim Potter, the former Minnesota police officer who mistakenly drew a gun instead of a Taser and fatally shot Daunte Wright during a traffic stop, was sentenced on Friday to two years in prison. The sentence was met with protest and civil disobedience as demonstrators looted several businesses saying the sentence was too light. Can America now expect this type of response in police related deaths? The vaccine mandate protests are continuing as covid related hospitalizations and deaths are dramatically down. Canadian police are cracking down on the Ottawa occupiers as Justin Trudeau orders violent arrests of the truck convoy participants. Does this indicate that freedom is being limited?
