Good morning!! Today, on The Meter, we will cover the massive security breach at the White House, where cocaine was discovered in a private library. The Biden spokespeople have not released any details on the embarrassing incident but claim it remains under investigation. The private library is not accessible to public tours, so a tourist source has been ruled out. Hunter Biden was recently present in the Federal Executive Mansion, but amidst the rumors, no link to the First Son has been made. Does the breach mean that security is at dangerous levels at the White House? Also, in yet another free speech case, a federal judge has ruled that the Biden administration violated the First Amendment by coordinating with social media platforms to squash what they called misinformation. Former press secretary Jen Psaki was named in the censorship case, as she routinely spoke about the spread of misinformation from the White House podium. Judge Terry Doughty said that Biden officials acted like an Orwellian ministry of truth to suppress free speech. Also, Janet Yellen, US Treasury Secretary, was in China this week for a conference. The talks covered US-China economic issues, national security, climate change, and global debt challenges. Chinese President Xi Jinping didn't meet with Sec. Yellen, but, upon leaving Beijing Yellen said, the US believes the world’s two largest economies can have a constructive relationship despite their geopolitical tensions. Democrats have hailed the meeting as a success, but Republicans are critical that the US is bowing to China under Biden. Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call-in number is 347-308-8933.
