Good morning! Today, on The Meter, we will cover the guilty verdict in Hunter Biden's gun case. The jury decided Joe Biden's son violated federal firearm laws by falsifying information on a required form to purchase a hand gun. Joe Biden immediately flew home from France to console his son after the verdict. How will this judgment affect the 2024 campaign. Also, the presumptive nominees Joe Biden are on the campaign trail this weekend. Donald Trump spoke before a church group in Detroit where he was praised by a popular black pastor for doing what Obama and Biden never did: "Come to the Hood." Trump also received the endorsement of former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. Trump commuted  Kilpatrick's bribery and racketeering conviction in 2021 while President Joe Biden flew into Los Angeles and attended a fundraiser, which included Barack Obama, George Clooney, and Julia Roberts, where front row seats went for $500,000. Whose weekend was better spent? Back to DC, the US Supreme Court ruled on 2 prominent cases on guns and abortion. The court shot down the bump stock ban for rifles 6-3 and upheld mifepristone abortion pill, which accounts for two-thirds of all abortions 9-0. What will the decisions mean in November. Also, the Biden executive order on transgender athletes in sports tied to Title IX was blocked by US District Judge, Terry Doughty, in 4 states, another American woman, a mom of 5, was raped and murdered by an illegal alien in Maryland, Biden seemed dazed during rhe G7 trip in Italy, and Russia has sent nuclear armed warships to Cuba for joint operations, 30 miles off the Florida coast.
