Off to the Races Radio - July 9

Off to the Races Radio returned July 9 with an exciting show focusing on Thoroughbred racing around the Mid-Atlantic and across the country.

The July 9 show featured visits from John Mooney, Delaware Park's head of racing, as well as trainers Michael Stidham and Karen Dennehy Godsey. Mooney was on hand to discuss that afternoon's big Delaware Handicap card, which also featured three other stakes.

Godsey and Stidham both will be active at Colonial Downs for the meet which commences July 11. Stidham's barn usually includes a few high-end runners that might go on to make splashes elsewhere, while Godsey focuses on having a solid Virginia-bred contingent.

Also on the docket are Darrell Wood, talking about all things Virginia, and legendary horseplayer Derby Bill Watson.
