Off to the Races: July 30

Off to the Races Radio powered by The Racing Biz returned Saturday, July 30 with an action-packed one hour program.

This week's show featured visits from trainer Mike Trombetta and jockey Horacio Karamanos. Trombetta has a pair in Laurel Park stakes races July 30. He's currently leading trainer by purse earnings at Colonial Downs after earning that same title last year.

Karamanos is the all-time leading rider at Colonial as well as a longtime mainstay in Maryland. He has two stakes wins thus far at the Colonial meet, including this past week's Colonial Cup.

Also on the docket are Darrell Wood, talking about all things Virginia, and legendary horseplayer Derby Bill Watson.
