Coach of the Year

David is an award-winning director with twenty years’ experience serving clients like A&E, History, G4, Sony BMG, Visa, Sam Adams, IFC, MIT and Harvard University.  David is a guest teaching artist at Manhattan Theatre Club, New York City Producer for the 48 Hour Film Project and serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Communication Studies Department.  An established international documentarian, David created a documentary series for the United Nations and the World Bank showcasing human rights initiatives in Nigeria, Peru and the Philippines.

David, an avid swimmer, combined his 20 years of coaching experience with filmmaking to create his first narrative feature. Coach of the Year is a kid friendly sports comedy that’s been described as “The Bad News Bears” of swimming.  The movie is set to premiere July 21st, 2015.
