Hopeologist Dr. Rosalind Tompkins has a hope chat with her daughter Janar Shenale Holloway about the deaths of George Flyod and other black men and women killed by police officers and the concerns that she has a black mother of a son and two daughters. Janar shared a moving video tribute about her son, Brian Jr. on social media and it struck a nerve with many mothers who are praying and pleading with the world to see their children for who they really are; valuable, brilliant, beautiful, human beings who are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

Protests around the nation and world are continuing in the wake of the murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis, Minnesota after a white police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down on the street.

In this powerful and impactful episode Hopeologist Rosalind and the Christ Vision Tribe discuss issues surrounding these deaths from a biblical perspective and solutions that every mother and father can take to protect their children and to bring change to the world.
