Fake news means different things to different people. Ask a congressional Democrat and they will explain to you how the sensational "Click bait" headlines on social media like "Arrest Warrant Issued for Hillary Clinton" are a threat to democracy. Ask a Trump supporter and they will say CNN. Ask a "progressive political operative" and any story they don't like fits their definition of Fake News. In truth, we are bombarded daily with a wide range of news stories that are partial truths spun to protect their viewpoint or to attack "the other side" and outright totally false stories designed to misinform or indoctrinate. Today we'll take a look at some recent examples of all of these. I am scheduled to be joined by Katie McAuliffe, the Federal Affairs Manager at Americans for Tax Reform, & Executive Director of Digital Liberty, to discuss the media hysteria over the recent congressional vote about internet privacy rules. Then we'll talk about Bill Nye's new Netflix show and ponder exactly what he is really trying to save. Also, a California judge has blocked President Trump's executive order on sanctuary city money. This and more as time allows. Listen in live, join the chat room, be part of the show.
