AOC Stiil Wants a Raise

For about a decade now there has been a pay freeze in effect for Congress. Many in Congress felt that it was time to end that and give themselves a raise. (You know, for the job that they are all doing so well.) One of the loudest voices calling for the so-called "cost of living" adjustment was freshman Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. A private border wall, built by a group called "We Build the Wall" must keep its gate open, according to an international agency charged with preserving access to natural resources, waterways, and monuments. Organized labor in Los Angeles recently launched an ad campaign blasting Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti over his proposed "Green New Deal," claiming the environmental plan would cost union jobs, increase energy bills, and erode the middle-class. Don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day!
