A recent study found that the average American believes that 9% of the population has died of COVID since the beginning of 2020. The actual percentage is around 0.04%, and just 0.005% of those under 55 years old. If the public is so badly misinformed, how can they possibly make a rational assessment of their government's response to COVID-19?
