This Sunday night at 8 p.m. cst. on The Big Perm Show we’re extremely excited to feature Peoria’s native son Bart Shatto !! We’ll be catching up with Bart to chat about his Peoria roots and his wonderful career that makes me proud to say ” He’s a P-Town boy !! “
Born here in Peoria, Bart has built a resume of success second to none. The list of accomplishments includes leading roles on Broadway, television roles and even performing for President Bush ! This past New Year’s, as a veteran member of The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Bart found himself singing at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin to over 1 million people.
Also joining the show will be Owner/ President at Oneoff Music Group Midwest, Steve Cripe Jr. a.k.a.Steve-O. We had an interesting conversation earlier this week about the local music scene so I wanted to bring him on to share some of that conversation with you guys.
Keeping with the Oneoff flavor we chat with Tanner Brown of Steady Flow !! Hailing from the Heart of Illinois, Steady Flow is a power funk band on the rise, blending new-age/progressive funk, with a classic 1970′s feel. The band’s first EP entitled “The Oneoff Sessions” made its debut in 2013 and quickly set the bar for the FUTURE OF FUNK! Give a listen! STAY FUNKY!
We’ll kick off the show talking with Bob Long of the Central Illinois Combat Club. We’ll talk about Central Illinois Throwdown 15 and lot’s more !!
In the middle of all the choas your ears will be blistered with the commentary of " Vic Nasty " !! We'll cover everything from Aliens in Illinois to the ridiculous soda tax proposal. Included in the madness will be our weekly talk with DJ McFly of KISS 98.5 FM.
We're working on a great show !! This episode promises to be one not to miss !!
