GOP Congressional leaders agreement to fund the government thru September, avoids a government shutdown that is badly needed to show Americans we don't need this big Government. The legislation includes $12.5 billion in military defense funding, no real surprise there as all want to keep the Military Industrial Complex running, which could increase to $15 billion if the Trump administration presents a plan to Congress for fighting the Islamic State. Still, the figure is half of the $30 billion President Trump originally requested. The bill also provides $1.5 billion for border security, but no monies for a BORDER WALL or the hiring of New Customs Enforcement Agents . Democrats threatened a government shutdown, they blocked funding for Planned Parenthood or Sanctuary Cities, GOP Establishment Caved.
