Fear the Lord in the judgment and victory of the Lord over Assyria brings the truth to all men. While men disregard the power of the Lord many times, the truth is; Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. However, this concept that the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom only occurs twice in the bible, one time in Proverbs and once in Psalms. In the New Testament believers life; the church has continually reminding them of this truth. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Fear the Lord a phrase many recognize biblically. However the truth is fact here. When we look at the word Fear, we find it extensively. But this word is found throughout the book of Revelation. A prophetic book warning of the judgment, trouble, and the coming of the Lord. Here we find the Apocalypsis or unveiling of the Lord. It is here the message of the New Testament is repentance, reunion with the Lord, justified through God's grace when we have faith and believe the work of the Lord and repent and follow him. While fear of the Lord can bring wisdom, it is Gods mercy and love that continually brings the sinner to Christ Jesus. Fearing what happens on Judgment Day is descriptive of sinners who failed to repent.
