Prayer of Deliverance places us in Isaiah's Prophetic Book Part 97 on this week's Battlelines @WarnRadio. The Assyrians prophecy by Isaiah is now taking place. The book of Isaiah both records the prophecy but addresses the events connected to it. We follow King Hezekiah and the Assyrians in their different rolls here. It is a dark day for Judah, but the Assyrians see nothing but victory. For them and their king Sennacherib it would wind up a dark day. The climax is set in the days of Assyrian strength that climaxed under previous king Sargon. Now taking on Judah, the kingdom who would destroy Judah becomes a victim of her own doing.

Prayer of Deliverance becomes the marker of the day when a King servant named #Hezekiah comes directly to the house of the #Lord. It was a troubled time, a day of #rebuke, #blasphemy, and the #enemy came in like a flood. Upon the land, the surrounding nations and #Judah the tide of the enemy swept. Once at the gates of #Jerusalem, the enemy camped triumphantly before the gates and saw nothing but a victory. Yet, Hezekiah went to the Lord with the threats and words of #Sennacherib on paper. He laid it out his #PrayerofDeliverance making his case before the #Lord #GodofHosts. The #Assyrians were not frightened of Judah and felt assured of victory.
