Chastisement finds the truth of Gods guidance and tutorship through His Spirit in our life. Here we are in part twenty-two of our Book of Hebrews study. Here we find the real example of the Son of God. Jesus Christ bore stripes on his own body as well as, death on the cross for our redemption. He leads the way in how we should walk in the Light as he walks in the Light. These are lessons in practical discipleship and relationship issues. We must get away from the modern idea of a drive-up fast food where we order food quickly, get served in a fair amount of time, and then pack up and leave.

Every Believer is a partaker of Chastisement occasionally. I do believe we can be at a point where we receive guidance and there is no need for harsh correction. Now while we associate this with punishment, or worse; the truth can be stranger than fiction. For it may seem like punishment when it occurs. The #ApostlePaul says in #Hebrews chapter twelve, verse Eleven "that no chastening for the present seems to be joyous." But the real meaning is '#tutorage', here meaning education or training. It has an implied meaning of '#Disciplinary #correction.' Yet, I like the #education or #training aspect. For we must be led, guided, and helped along in our discipleship by the Lord. At times, we must be brought back to reality with His mercy of Chastisement.
