“Position yourself to receive what God has for you”   Joshua 1:1-9

God choose Joshua to succeed Moses as Israel Leader.  You might ask the question why Joshua?  First of all this was a part of God’s master plan before the foundation of the world.  God knew Moses would fail; He didn’t cause him to fail but knew he would fail and Joshua would succeed. You have to remember that God is Omniscience, all knowing.  Joshua was ready, willing, and able for God’s blessing and he trusted that God would provide the provisions. You have to be in position to receive your blessing. No matter what Joshua faced in life he held on to the confession of his faith. Joshua always obeyed Moses as a son would obey his father.  Joshua knew his place and if or when a change would come or a new season in his life, he was ready. The Word of God is full of promises that God has given unto us as well. Just like the Israelites are God choses people we are also His children, because our relationship with His Son, Christ Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection. There are instructions that must be followed so we won’t end up like Moses.  You must know what’s for you and how to get it, keep it and always give God the Glory for it.  In good times and bad times he is worthy to be praised.  You must know His will which is the Word of God to know your inheritance.
