"I am saved now what" 1 Corinthians 3
Once saved you must to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
The church in Corinth was in trouble. They were divided. They were immature. They were abusing the sacraments, spiritual gifts, and each other. The apostle Paul had founded this church earlier and had to leave. When he hears of the young church’s struggles, he writes them a letter. Here we see that Paul is talking to Christians because he calls them brethren. They were not able to receive the spiritual things of God because they were carnal. Carnal means that you operate in the flesh and not in the spirit and you are considerate to be fleshly. Can a true Christian be carnal? The Bible is absolutely clear that no one is sinless 1John 1:8 Says: we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Every time we sin, we are acting carnally. Therefore, we can conclude that Christians can be carnal. Paul said he has to feed them with milk as babe, because they are not able to digest meat. They were hears of the word but not doer of the word. They were doing thing that seem right in their eyes. If you are a true Christian you may have carnal moments but not a carnal lifestyle. Whatever you feed that’s what will grow.
