“God has us in His Hands”    Jeremiah 18:1-6

These scriptures paint a beautiful picture using an analogy or some may say a parable about   the potter and His clay.  An Analogy is used when someone it trying to tell you something, and uses, people, places or things that hearer are familiar with so that it would be easier to make a comparison to fully understand what is being said.  A parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning, a story that is designed to illustrate or teach some truth, religious principle, or moral lesson, so that even the simplest can become wise. God the Father is symbolic of the potter and we are His clay. Everything in the bible from Geneses to Revelation is God speaking to us trying to tell us something that would help us to become a worthy vessel for service and His glory. In the scripture God told Jeremiah to go to the potter house and watch how the potter works with the clay. He wanted him to see, this is how I been working all things out together for the good before the foundation of the world and I want you to confident of this very thing, the He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Once we accept Christ as our Savior we are placed in the hands of God.  Once the clay enter the hands of the potter the potter never let go. It’s a God thing. I got you but you must trust me.  Trusting God is saying that God knows best.

Come and join us as we explore the Word of God together.
