I am saved now what -   2 Peter 3:10-18

Jesus is coming back but not man knows the hour, then the question was asked while waiting for His return what manner of people ought to be. He goes on to say everything as we know it will pass away so this lets us know only what you do for Christ will last. What are you doing with what Jesus has given us to be steward of, remember everything belongs to God?  Ask yourself what you have done for God lately with your time, resources, gifts and talents. Some people believe that they have time to accept Christ as their savior and others who are saved think they have time to get it right.  In the mean time they lean to their own understanding making it up as they go, you are not afforded the privilege.  The bible says they will be ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of truth and their Christian growth can be called shorty.  They have the audacity to be talking loud and saying nothing. Just because we love the Lord it doesn’t exempt us from pain for it’s a part of His plan and He uses it to mature us.  It never what comes our way but who we go through it with and His name is Jesus.  We should never stop growing in God’s Word, His Will and His work.  It’s a process not a destination while you are alive it a journey.  To know this you need the knowledge of God.
