"Hold on help is on the way" 1 Peter
I would like to talk about in times like these we need a Savior. Before I can expound, we must an understand who can be classified as a Savior, so that you can utterly understand our need. A Savior is a person who saves someone or something from dangers here on earth and guarantee eternal life. We needed a Savior that understands our struggles and temptation. A Savior that has walked in our shoes. Hebrews 4:15 say: For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. A Savior that can do for us the things we could never do for ourselves. We all can say we live in an evil and dangerous world where everyone is doing what seems right in their own eyes and leading to their own understand. This world is control by the prince of the air, which is Satan, who come to steal, kill, and destroy, oppose God, man, and anything good with his limited power that God is allowing. We need a Savior because, Jesus said, "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." Jesus came to give something, not to get something. Christians are given abundant life at the moment of salvation. However, that life is "abundant" from a heavenly perspective, not an earthly perspective.
