What the devil set-up for your bad, God can turn it around for your good     Daniel 6

What got Daniel in trouble, his love for God.  Daniel was determined to follow God at all costs.  Would you be willing to follow God even in the face of hurt, harm or even death.  Daniel was sold out and he would not let anything separate him from the love of God. Let’s look at the plot designed to have Daniel killed.  Jealousy filled the heart of those who accused him.  Jealousy is a sin a feeling placed in the hearts of those that become jealousy by Satan.  Satan --uses the sin of jealousy to set-up things for your bad, but God can turn them around for your good. If we look at this sin we have to go back and see where it first started.  The first murder committed was motivated by jealousy. Cain killed his brother Able because of his sacrifice.  Jacob gave one of his sons, Joseph, a special coat, which began inspiring jealousy in his older sons. Eventually his brothers beat him and sold him into slavery. Saul became bitter over the love others had towards the shepherd boy, David and tried to kill him on several occasions.  Jealousy is still alive and well in the world today and Satan uses it to try to stop, block, hurt, harm, and even kill. Look at the murders on our city street. The Devil is constantly using jealousy to set things up for our bad, but God can turn it around for our good.
