Jesus lets us know what to expect.  Matthew 24:1-14We are living in a world of trials, tribulations, adversities, and trouble on every side. Even in the mist of our storms, we must “Remember, nothing that is happening is taking God by surprise.”  This statement is true, but you must believe it to be able to achieve. To understand who God is, I went to Psalm 24, and it said: The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.  This is what makes Him Sovereign. To understand that God is Sovereign - God created everything and therefore all things are under His control, He can do what He wants, when He wants. for whom He wants to, this is why we can’t God in a box.  His attributes have made Him one of a kind, He is in that class all by Himself. What makes Him sovereign is that He is Omnipresence - God is always present everywhere. Psalms 46: says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He is always in your present so nothing can take Him by surprise. He is Omnipotence - God can do all things that are consistent with His character. God has all power in His hands, and nothing can stop or block Him.  God doesn’t need to ever ask for permission or need buy in from anyone. Omniscience - God has all knowledge and full of Wisdom, God perfectly knows all possibilities and scenarios of life and He has already worked it out. His wisdom is perfect so that He knows which course of action is the best for your good.
