Viki Winterton interviews Anne Maxwell!
Anne Maxwell, LCSW, RPT-S is a licensed clinical social worker, or LCSW, which means that she has a master's degree in social work, and is licensed to practice. Also, she is a registered play therapist supervisor, or RPT-S, which is the highest credential available for play therapists. Anne is certified to run two types of parenting groups, one based on the Great Behavior Breakdown model of Bryan Post, and the other based on the Beyond Consequences, Logic and Control model of Bryan Post and Heather Forbes.
In addition to the more traditional forms of therapy, Anne has been drawn to energy work. She is an Access Consciousness facilitator, certified to teach a variety of Access classes. Also, Anne is certified to do Reiki, a particular form of hands-on healing.
She founded the Child and Family Play Therapy Center in 2010, which is dedicated to empowering people to know what they know and to create the kind of change in their lives they would like to have.
