Viki Winterton interviews Michael Priv!
Since 1987, Michael has been an avid student of Eastern religions and has achieved some fame as a psychic healer. Michael's writing career started in 2008 with the publication of his first novel, Friends of Fred. His first Sci-Fi novel, The Fifth Battalion, his autobiography called The Golden Fleece, as well as several of his short stories, are marked by a lighthearted view of life and a spark of spirituality.
Michael has recently released a full collection of his short stories, The Roto-Rooter, and a psychic healing guidebook entitled You Are a Psychic, The Healer’s Handbook. Michael is currently working on his sequel to The Fifth Battalion under the working title The Baltizor Conspiracy.
The Fifth Battalion: Death is a poor excuse for dereliction of duty is an action thriller studying loyalty, honor and duty set against a hellacious, against all odds survival situation. The novel’s protagonist is Norman Bolstad: a gunnery sergeant from the Baltizor Confederacy. After a failed attempt to invade the planet Earth 5,000 years ago, he now makes a living as a lab technician in San Francisco. In his struggle to escape, he finds love and spirituality where only turmoil exists and starts planning for an escape of epic proportions.
