Bible Study on Book of Romans part 12

I almost hate for these to end.  One thing I want to make clear and was mentioned last week.  Paul and Peter kept steady on the course of teaching the plan of salvation.  What did they teach the plan of salvation was.  Read it in the book of Acts.  Some people say all you have to do is believe and that takes away the total context of what the bible was saying about believing.  To believe in something means that you follow the instructions.  I can believe I can fly but until I get into an airplane it is not going to happen! Everybody has to be born again.  Jesus made it clear that this means of the water and the spirit.  This goes with the narritive of what took place in the book of ACTs.  They were baptised in water in the name of Jesus, and they recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  Peter and Paul never strayed from this teaching!  The epistles were sent to the church of each area that already had been baptised in Jesus name and had recived the gift of the Holy Ghost.  So they did not beat a dead horse to death by going over this again in these letters.  Instead they taught them of how to live in this new knowledge and new covenant that God had given to people that did away with the law of the sacrifice of sheep and goats.  Since salvation with Peter and Paul was important.  I want to make sure that this is just as important and clear on this show.  As always we open up the microphones to hear your thoughts.
