One Year Bible Study Part 31

Welcome to our bible study as it continues now into the ending of the kingship of David. What follows is the games being played in his family on who will be next to sit on the throne.  Wild Bill thinks the teacher this week has gone far beyond his previous teachings in pointing out some of the family issues and how they played out. He got a clearer picture in his mind of this process then ever before.  Plus saw in a new light  how a person that is known for his wisdom was able to make the great mistakes that we read about in the bible. Wild Bill loves the types and shadows we learn in the old testiment of the bible that leads us to the new testiment relationship that GOD wants to have with his children of the time that we live in.  As much as it is hard sometimes to understand how people made the mistakes they did after great signs and wonders of GOD showing himself to his people. I wonder if we ever stop to compare how much better we have it now, and look at the mistakes we too make in our life choices.  Just think about the one fact that should make us even more powerful and accountable.  We have the spirit of GOD living inside of us after we recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost just like they did on the day of Pentecost.  That is something we need to remind ourself of on a daily basis when studying the bible in dividing it properly to how it appllies.
