One Year Bible Study Part 36

Welcome to another show. We want to warn you that the teacher is not teaching in a church setting.  With that said, "He teaches the bible is the inspired word of GOD, that it is bsed in history, and it is based in geography."  Some comments he makes is to keep his students interested and trying to get them to relate the bible to the thinking of today looking back at history.   With that said we do not always agree with all of his points.  But we promise you, he will get you to thinking outside of the box. Hopefully this will help you expand your vision of the bible.  We are still looking at the kings of Isreal and how there are good and bad in this position.  This clearly applies to the priest also.  Wild Bill thinks, that this is just like we see in our politics of today.  What you see in the leadership is a sign of where the people are in their thinking and lifestyle.  We have tried in past to share in shows on politics and sound bite news,  how that there are many half truths that people of faith repeat as fact.  Wild Bill and Blog Talk Mom have both seen that this can cause a seperation between you and people of faith that you respect if you point this out. It is not about supporting 100% the political leaders where we took the sound bite news and proved it false by sharing the entire speech.  Many people misunderstood our stance.  As this teacher paints a pic of the times and people involved.  We hope that you can see more into their life.  If we are honest are we in this same endless cycle of being in GOD's plan and then out of the plan of GOD with one decision in our life?  This teacher speaks of the people walking close to GOD that had miracles in their life.  Are we not to have miracles, signs, and wonders following us according to the bible?   As we judge the people in this lesson.  What is in the wake of your life?
