As of 2014 in Los Angeles, CA there were 58,503 people living with HIV. This does not include those who have neaver been tested. Center of Disease Control said 1 in 5 people are positive and has never been tested for HIV. The majority of the people living with HIV are the minorities.
In Los Angeles County Latino/Hispanic account for 41.8% of all people living with HIV and 46.2% recently diagnose. Blacks/African American account for 20.2% of all people living with HIV and 22.8% recently diagnosed. This are the numbers for Los Angeles County.
