The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) has placed a hold on ban on the chemical called methylene chloride, found in paint thinner indefinitely. The Environmental Protection Agency has already stated methylene chlorige is dangerous and has cause dozens of death. EPA propose a ban but the ban was stopped last year. Retailers have vowed to stop selling deadly paint strippers. There were 56 deaths in the United States since 1980.
