647,000 people die of heart disease each year. 130,000 deaths are due to strokes. Stroke is major cause of disabilities. Most heart disease can be prevented with healthy lifestyle choice In 2018 30.3 million US adults were diagnosed with heart disease. Every year there are 647,000 deaths in the United States from heart disease. According to Center Disease Control every 40 seconds an American will have a heart attack. About 12% of the people who have a heart attack will die from it. Coronary heart disease (Blockage of the arteries that supply blood to the heart affects 18.2 million Americans agte 20 and older and killed 360,000 in 2017. Heart disease is the leading ccause of death in both women and men. Signs and symptoms of heart attack:

    Chest pains or discomfort, upper body pain or discomfort in the arms, neck, or upper sttomach, light headedness or cold sweats.

    Other common symptoms in women: shortness of breath, nausea , back or jaw pain.
