Most of the time, when you hear about abstinence most people associate it with sex but it is so much more than just sex. Abstinence is defined as the fact or practice of restraining oneself from indulging in something, typically alcohol: drugs, sex, gambling, anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred, gluttony, laziness,....etc. You see I can go on and on but I'm going to stop here because I want to give room for God to have His way tonight on the call. I wanted to give you this little appetizer to help you think about the many things that you have abstained (you stopped doing them) but you didn't PULL UP the roots or you PULLED up some roots and it snapped in the middle and the head stayed in the ground and continued to grow!
Oh, we going to cut off some heads and get the ENTIRE seed out, not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord!
