What are you bringing to the table?
What do you have to offer your husband?
Are you adequately prepared to minister to and pray for your husband?
Eloquently Speaking, these are some of the things that I will review on Thursday. You see, Esther's season of preparations lasted one year and during that time, she was not distracted or caught up with the extravagant lifestyle and the lavish gifts that she could have...instead required nothing.
Preparations For Marriage - Is Pre-marital Counseling Necessary?
From personal experience, I have to say that premarital counseling does bring discernment and teaching...to those whom are "just" dating.
I also believe that the decision to attend premarital counseling should be approached with an open mind and one must have a willingness to learn and accept the truth about the things that will be discerned about who they are and where they are individually and collectively and one must be willing to accept their partner for who they are and where they are and not try to force them to be something that they are not.
