Cheryl is a survivor of brain injury, in 1994, and PTSD, in 2012. Her advocacy work has focused on the passing of state and federal legislation that requires law enforcement to be trained to recognize brain injury and PTSD, known as HR 2992, 117th Congressional Session. She is currently expanding her imprint talking about the personal side of that journey.
