We boomers have lived through some major events that each of us remembers. However few are as stunningly memorable as the Tate/LaBianca murders that took place in 1969.

In fact, August 9th marked the 51st anniversary of the day the Tate murders unfolded. Moreover, it was 50 years ago this summer that the trial began and the world got its first look at Charles Manson, a strange and, many consider, truly evil man.

Our guest, Ivor Davis is a legendary reporter and author who was one of the very first on the scene when Sharon Tate and her houseguests met their gruesome end. He wrote the first book about the shocking event, called Five to Die and even got up close and personal with the Manson gang at Spahn ranch.

Ivor joins us to share about both his latest book, Manson Exposed: A Reporter’s 50-Year Journey into Madness and Murder (which has now also been released as an audio book), and his prominent role in the current EPIX TV series, "Helter Skelter: An American Myth."

Even if you thought you knew all about what happened during that fateful period in LA, you are guaranteed to have your mind blown with the new information Ivor shares in both his book and the TV series.

Don’t miss this one: you’re going to want to find out every juicy detail!
