"Monica combines her education in fields of public health, social work and health information technology with her passion helping others.  Monica founded Dovetail Care, Inc. in 2012 that combines her passion for public health and health information to extend the benefits of the electronic health record principals to a person’s entire life. Her years as a medical social worker spanned inpatient, outpatient and home health programs with extensive experience with elderly patients. She has provided extensive consultation services to individuals instituting nontraditional and cost-effective education programs, creating innovative curriculum using software, text and self-designed hands-on materials.
 
 
Monica has 25 year of professional experience in the community and hospital based work. She is a member of the 2013 American Society Aging Leadership Academy and a certified health information Technology professional completing the Office of National Coordination HIT curriculum.
 
She has directed critical access hospital based programs providing school, community and clinical health education and risk reduction programs with 18 different program areas. She developed the Tennessee statewide preferred provider organization which was resold to numerous other insurance companies as she worked for the American General Insurance."
