David Marin was a CA kid growing up in a bad environment, following in the footsteps of young gangsters who only knew how to throw their lives away. One day, back in prison for the 7th time, David happened to see the Barstarzz YouTube Channel, and a new vision came into his mind that would change his life.

Seeing an older inmate be released from prison, and quickly return, unable to break the habit of a lifetime of crime, David knew he had to break free of the deadly cycle of self-destruction. Seeing people of all ages and backgrounds enter a new life through calisthenics, he decided to devote himself completely to the pursuit of excellence in this sport of body development. By the time he was released from prison for the last time, David had transformed his life and his body, developed focus and dedication, and had begun to learn a skill he could use to save the lives of kids following the same downward path he had traveled, from which many never return.

David's story is not just inspirational, it is practical for each of us. Calisthenics is a system that is adaptable to any fitness level, either gender, any age or background. Little to no equipment is needed to get the benefits of this type of exercise, no gym membership is needed, and you can start using it to feel better, right now, today. It starts with learning "progressions," which are versions of each exercise to fit the ability levels of beginners, and people who have not been active for a long time, as well as more advanced athletes.

I asked David if he could actually do some demonstration of the movements for us while we would talk on the interview, and show us how they can be adapted to any fitness level, and to any age. Now David teaches kids and hosts events all over the US and elsewhere. His career as a calisthenics mentor and teacher are just beginning. Take advantage of David's inspiration to transform your own life.
