I asked frequent Lost Arts Radio guest Alex Newman what kids can choose for quality education after high school. The question came up because Alex had been explaining the great alternative K-12 school he works with, Freedom Project Academy (www.fpeusa.org), and we had not talked about places just as good to go after high school graduation for real education, something becoming almost non-existent in government-approved schools today.

Alex said it was an important question, and the best person to answer would be the academic director of Freedom Project Academy, Dr. Duke Pesta (www.drdukeshow.com). I wondered if Dr. Pesta might come onto our show and talk about this and connected issues in education, so all of us could listen, not just me. His schedule is very busy, but he agreed. This is a chance to hear from a high-level educator who has deep understanding of what is missing from modern educational programs, and what a better alternative would look like.

Dr. Pesta is a tenured professor of English at the University of Wisconsin, an authority on Common Core and the federal takeover of education. He is also the author of The Renaissance and the Postmodern: A Study In Comparative Critical Values. More about his work with Freedom Project Academy and his insights into education and world issues can be accessed at www.fpeusa.org and at www.freedomprojectacademy.com. If you're interested in these important topics like I am, come and meet a genuine educator on this Sunday's show.
