In the U.S., it is illegal to suspend constitutional rights of the people, no matter what kind of "emergency" may be declared. Many commentators criticizing the lockdown enforced by governments all over the world have pointed out that the death figures do not justify house arrest for the general population. In America at least, they are missing the point. We have this thing they should have heard of, it's called the Constitution, and it goes with another document called the Declaration of Independence. They explain that God has granted us certain unalienable rights. That means they can't be taken away, even by declaring an "emergency."
Even a death rate of 99% from the virus would not change that fact at all. In America, government exists to protect our individual rights and freedoms. Most of our current rulers seem to think government exists to take away our freedom, to enslave and kill us. The pandemic is being used as an excuse to put that into action, assuming we won't understand the scam, and will be controlled by fear. The death figures for the virus are being falsified to create more panic, more willingness to submit to ridiculous levels of control of our lives. Ultimately, the rulers plan to keep the heightened surveillance and control permanent, never lifting the fear of more waves, more outbreaks. In reality, government can give free people suggestions, but cannot legitimately enslave or harm them. And an important detail of all this, is that people worldwide, not just Americans, have exactly the same rights. No government can change that.
