Lost Arts Radio Show #285 - Special Guest Dr. Patrick Vickers

In the late 1920's, Dr. Max Gerson was in Germany, developing his dietary treatment for tuberculosis and migraine headaches. A cancer patient approached him and asked if Dr. Gerson would please let her take his treatment and see if it would help her condition. He declined, but she persisted. Eventually he gave in and was surprised to see that the patient recovered. In the years that followed, he further developed and refined the treatment, using diet and colon hydrotherapy in the form of coffee enemas, and was able to cure many late stage cancer victims. He came to the U.S. in 1936, in time to escape the Nazis in Germany, and died an American citizen in 1959, his therapy strongly suppressed by the medical establishment in the U.S.

In 1977, his daughter Charlotte founded the Gerson Institute in San Diego, to teach people how to use the Gerson therapy themselves. In 2013, Dr. Patrick Vickers founded the Gerson Clinic of North Baja (www.gersonclinic.com), and has been treating patients with cancer and other degenerative diseases there ever since. Protocols include the original Gerson therapy, enhanced by a number of improvements and additions that Dr. Vickers has been developing over the course of his career.
