Today we have an epidemic that consist of human slavery. It is called Human Sex Trafficking. Such appears to be the second most lucrative crime in the world. According to a United Nation Report Human Trafficking generates over 30 Billion Dollars. Trafficking victimization has many faces and common themes which consist of poverty and the inability to access basic needs. There can also be a long history of abuse  and neglect.

It is a sex trade involvement commonly amongst our youth, individuals that are run always, and individuals that were thrown out by families unwilling to accept their sexual orientation or gender identity. Victims are often lured by traffickers into slavery through promises of financial rewards, work, assistance crossing a boarder, or marriage. However instead they are coerced into sexual slavery, tortured, or have even had their organs removed.

The average age in the United States is between 12 to 14 years of age. California harbors the highest sex trafficking in the nation: Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego. The National Human Trafficking Hotline receives more calls from the state of Texas by which 15% of those calls are believed to have come from the Dallas Fortworth area. I would also advise you to look up Senate Bill 1322 as it relates to The Comnercial Sex Acts For Minors. The worlds oldest profession may soon be legal again in California. Let's educate others and protect our children.
