Finding Scriptures To Fit Your Situation

When individuals are going through one often turn to their Bible as many was taught that the Bible was considered, " The Book Of Instruction Before Leaving Earth." Many also will practically run to the church house expecting to hear a word from the lord as they believe that they don't know what to do about their situation. 

The Bible can be a double-edged sword and can piece the heart, However when stripped of its context and mangled it can be twisted in order to apply to ones particular situation or person. The the blade can become dull and ineffective. 

I have often heard many Believer say they need a word from the lord. One can also obtain scriptures to address their situation. But what is one to do when the word is being watered down, misquoted, or altered to fit ones situation.

When the word is stripped of it's context, then verses can be made to fit onessituation for which they were not intended.
