The role and importance of the church in the community is of value. When I was a child there were individuals that attended their neigborhood church. There were also many programs and activities for children, youth as well as adults. Today individuals now have many selections as it relates to where they want to fellowship. This often takes individuals away from their neighborhood church. Not to mentions that there are several churches in some neighborhoods.
