The month of October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic Violence is something that must be addressed as it affects the lives of many. It is something that many do not like to talk about yet many individuals of all ages suffer in silence. Domestic Violence does not discriminate. It is considered a pattern of one trying to dominate or control another person. There are also other factors that may be involved. What makes it domestc is the type of relationship. Domestic Violence is a learned behavior. Children that witness domestic violence can also have scars due to witnessing domestic violence.
