Meet Storyteller Carrie Knowles With Host Natalie Sist Live

Carrie Knowles is a storyteller, artist, world traveler, wife, mother, award-winning artist and author; with a passport the size of a library. Take a captivating journey into the not-so-ordinary lives of her characters across the globe.

Born in Detroit and grew up in Wayne, Michigan in the shadow of Eloise Mental Hospital.

Relocated to Raleigh in 1978 to support her husband's new position in the Sociology Department at N.C. State U and her own endeavors.

As a freelance writer of 45 years, Carrie has published more than 50 short works,4 novels and hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles.

A 6th-time finalist in Glimmer Train competitions and the 2014 North Carolina Piedmont Laureate.

Carrie writes a regular column for Psychology Today, “Shifting Forward: A Wanderer’s Musings.”

A Musical Affair is about divorce, deception, love affairs, expensive secrets, long overdue forgiveness, the power of beautiful music, and just how Celeste, with a little help from some new friends, manages to raise over $300,000 to fund an inter-national music festival and turn her life around.
