Over the decades of my 72 yr long life, I have given hundreds of lectures about deep cooperation and ran a UN empowerment organization. The amazing thing is this:
Whether I am talking to a Prime Minister about my peace plan or to someone who heard one of my more general lectures, almost everyone says that they would prefer living in the type of more cooperative, peaceful and compassionate world I am describing. Nonetheless the same people who personally like the picture I paint use examples of bad behavior by others to "prove" that most people could not live in a more utopian world. But just as they cite your imperfect behavior as proof that human nature is incompatible with the form of universal love promoted by Jesus, Buddha and others, you probably see their imperfect behavior as proof that paradise is an overly idealistic dream.
