Books & Entertainment Presents Dellani's Tea Time

It's the first show of the year, so that means that it's just us gals chatting to each other. Christina and I have been doing this show since 2009, and have talked to a lot of fabulous people. We like to take this first show of the year to talk to one another.

Cohost Christina Giguere is an author of both fiction and non-fiction. She's got a finger on the pulse of the industry, and has published a helpful guide to authors on how to negotiate the snarls and pitfalls of self-publishing and social media. She has been my assistant since the fall of 2009, and I don't know how I did the show without her. She handles the slings and arrows of outrageous Blog Talk Radio issues with aplomb and penash.

Host Dellani Oakes is good at running her mouth. (I recognize that I changed POV here, run with it) She might be bad at the switchboard, but she's pretty solid on asking guests questions. Dellani has 16 published books, and enough others to keep publishing for the next 20 years, and not ever have to write another thing. Of course, she keeps writing, because she's addicted to it. She does not have her finger on the pulse of anything, and muddles through by asking Christina lots of questions. (Which Christina graciously answers, because she's that kind of woman).
