These days, whether or not you're with a big publisher, authors are responsible for their own promotions. This a problem for most of us, because we have absolutely no idea how to proceed. For a bunch of introverts who'd rather be inside writing or reading, it's difficult to step into the spotlight and toot our own horns. (Or avoid silly cliches)
