Join co-hosts Joan West and Sherry Knowlton for this episode of Milford House Mysteries on March 14th at 2:00 pm when they'll discuss the topic: Do Clothes Make the Character? In our own lives, we often draw conclusions about other people based on how they are dressed.  From the instant identification a uniform provides to tell us that he is a policeman or she is a Marine.  To the more subtle indicators of social and economic status that a designer dress or a worn and mismatched outfit can convey. Or the traditional tropes that permeate our culture: i.e., good guys always wear whte and bad guys wear black.  A fiction author can use these and other aspects of clothing to help paint their characters personalities, backgrounds, and more.

In Hamlet, Polonius says, "For the apparel oft proclaims the man." Tune in to hear what Joan and Sherry think about this enduring bit of Shakespearean wisdom.
