Saturday, June 26, 2010 starting at 11:00 a.m. (EST) on “Off The Shelf Radio” (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Denise-Turney-) Denise Turney sits down with Bernice Dickey, author of the book My Number #1 Is Still My #1. Turney and Dickey will talk about a life changing event (the loss of her husband and oldest daughter) that happened to Bernice nearly a decade ago. The importance of faith, vision and insight after death, sudden or expected, will be examined during the live talk show. Listeners who tune into the one-hour feature interview will learn the how to use writing and other art forms to work through emotional and mental crisis. They will also discover how friends, family and community can offer strong arms of support during critical life changes. People who tune into the show live can have their questions answered directly by Bernice Dickey or/and Denise Turney. “Bernice Dickey is a woman of great faith. She kept her focus on the love of God after her husband and oldest daughter transitioned post an automobile accident, an event that happened to Bernice absent warning. Bernice Dickey has told her story on Bishop T.D. Jake’s television show, “The Potter’s Touch.” Bernice is a minister and a practicing Christian,” Turney shares. The show was so popular that it aired for several years. “My Number #1 Is Still My #1 is her first published book that she wrote to encourage others who experience similar situations and deep feelings of loss and tragedy.”
